Sauro gets introduced at the start of ACT 3 as a possible buyer for the Power Plant, as he thought that due to its fame and placement it'd be a strategic point to build over, and he slowly gets entangled into the story.

Biography

Sauro's story begins as a newcomer in Edenbanks, an enterpreneur in search of new locations to expand his numerous businesses. Coincidentially, he finds out about a property being sold at a ridiculously low price near the city's pier - a tasty location for a bar or an hotel. Interested and curious about the matter, he gets in touch with the seller, who is no other than Mod.

During the sale Mod attempts to kill him as a way to earn free money from an unknown outsider (who knows how many times he'd already tried to scam people like that) but, after a quick confrontation that ended up in Sauro incapacitating him, Mod manages to sneak the name of Maxy up to Sauro's curiosity, telling him that Maxy held some important documents about the Power Plant's ownership and how it was managed, and saying he would give them up if he saw Mod risk his life in front of his eyes.

After said slip of information, Sauro quickly catches his chance and drives to Maxy's workshop - a well-known hub for the Pyromancer community - and the two both face Mod. Maxy expresses carelessness in Mod's existence (to the surprise of nobody), so both Maxy and Sauro decide to clumsily get rid of him by incapacitating him and throwing him off the pier (again).

Maxy and Sauro ☆get to know each other☆

Coincidentially with Sauro's appearance, Maxy begins sighting an unknown armored carbon creature touring the roofs of the city. Fearing for a menace, Maxy follows him to ask for his intentions, though the unknown person playfully refuses to answers. After an intense confrontation the other manages to escape only to reappear a couple of nights later, sparking various instances of this cat-and-dog chase, often ending fairly well for both (ie. they bone IN ARMOR!! NICE).

During one of said fights, a fall in a rooftop pool in the rich part of the city "puts out" their fire armors and reveals the identity of both. TURN OF EVENTS!! They both know who they are now, imagine the walk of shame when they have to get home

Anyway, let's say this turn of events makes them get closer on a personal level on top of being work partners. Discovering that your collaborator is just a little bit funky like you are has his effects :]

A call from Vitality Corp.

After a handful of relatively peaceful months Sauro gets contacted by Vitali, head scientist of Vitality Corp. and basically the one Mod escaped from at the beginning. They meet up and Sauro and Maxy get informed that Mod is most likely still alive, still hidden around the city and he wants them to find and hand him over to Vitality Corp.

Sauro mobilizes a crew to search for him in the far chance he didn't leave the city, and finally finds him hiding in Edenbanks's lower neighborhoods.

Unknowing of what kind of chaotic energy Mod has, Sauro decides to temporarily keep him in his main office, where Mod demonstrates to be an absolute nuisance. Sauro's intentions aren't to deliver him to Vitali as he asked, but rather to understand what he was up to as he seemed VERY interested in having the little guy back.

Vitality Corp. is busy with 28473 other things but AT SOME POINT they do something relevant

Time passes, Mod calms down a bit and actually seems to try to be a decent person so Maxy starts to be able to live with that. Everything seems to go on smoothly, until it's clear that Vitali had smelled something suspicious with the group (most likely through moles among civilians or some shit, Mod was generally able to go out and about so: no surprise the news spread).

After trying diplomacy and good manners Vitali decides to deploy a totally feral Ezra as a human weapon, with the intent to forcibly grab Mod by the nape of his neck and bring him back to Vitality. The group confronts him at least a couple times, with the last ending in Ezra being incapacitated and almost dead. With a bit of convincing from Mod, Ezra gets spared and seems to recuperate physically and mentally, at the point in which he escapes the hospital with him "for a weeklong holiday, then we'll get back"

Knowing that Sauro absolutely had the means of surveilling the duo's activities, that Mod was easily reachable through cellphone calls and MOST IMPORTANTLY that this meant having the two out of the way for a week, Maxy adds his efforts to Mod's to convince Sauro to let them go have fun for once. He even offers to keep an eye on Ezra when he'd get back by making him stay at his own place. Sauro, half-heartedy, accepts.

Relationships

Sauro and Maxy:

Maxy and Sauro call themselves business partners, though they'll probably never admit that with time they become way too affectionate with each other to call it so. Their relationship start tumultuous and with a good amount of mutual annoyance, as Sauro is a very materialistic, goals-by-any-means person and that rubs Maxy the wrong way, and Maxy initially wants to keep the Power Plant stolen files (rightfully) for himself and this annoys Sauro to no end.

Unfortunately, in coincidence with Sauro discovering that Maxy is the mysterious figure that he encountered during his night strolls, he begins crushing hard on Maxy, a feeling that hardly gets reciprocated as Sauro's ways of demonstrating it (mainly buying Maxy stuff and attempting to pamper him) aren't often that well-seen by the other.

With time and with the story's development Maxy opens up to Sauro, making him discover that there's more to the latter than a frivolous bastard, and they start to open up to each other. Although Maxy won't exactly ever behave like a hopeless romantic towards Sauro, their relationship can be described as close and very personal.

Sauro and Mod:

Sauro and Ezra:

Sauro and Ezra never really liked each other - even since they were little their age gap and different interests never made them connect. Sauro thought Ezra was a less-than-brilliant wimp and Ezra DESPISED his frivolous older brother that always seemed to get his way around everything.

At this point things have changed very little adding to it that Ezra is supposed to be part of the "enemy" faction and Sauro's keeping him around because he seems to keep Mod more calm than he's ever seen him be.
